Ginger Boykin began her rescue work in 1977. She established Pathfinder Critters in 1987 and incorporated in 1997. Pathfinder is a non-profit or 501(C)(3) organization created to provide sanctuary for dogs and cats that are unadoptable.
Ginger has 40 years of experience in animal care. She has taught obedience classes for 40 years, was owner of Pathfinder Kennels providing grooming and boarding for companion animals and rescue groups. For 4 years she was a Lay Hearing Officer for Pima Animal Control where she ruled on Dangerous Dog Hearings. From 1987-1989, she was the Shelter Supervisor at the Humane Society of Tucson. Ginger is currently an Arizona Licensed Veterinary Technician. She was also the founder of Animal Crusaders, Inc. which provides low cost spay and neuter.
Ginger has been President, Secretary, Treasurer, Newsletter Editor of: German Shepherd Dog Club of Southern Arizona, Dog Obedience Clinic, Inc., Dachshund Club of Southern Arizona, Austrailian Shepherd Club of Southern Arizona, and the Doberman Pinscher Club of Southern Arizona.
